Premier League leaders Liverpool travel to West London to face Fulham on Sunday afternoon.
Arne Slot’s side defeated rivals Everton 1-0 in the Merseyside derby last time out, restoring a 12-point lead at the top of the top flight standings.
The Dutchman will be very pleased with his side’s performance in the Premier League so far, with the Reds having lost just one of 30 matches so far this season.
This summer is set to be an interesting one at Anfield, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk all set to be out of contract.
It remains to be seen whether any of the trio will stay put on Merseyside beyond this summer, but in the meantime it appears that the Premier League leaders are chasing a Brazilian youngster.
As per TBR Football, both Liverpool and rivals Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Vasco De Gama teenager Rayan.
Postecoglou could look to bolster his squad this summer
The 18-year-old winger has impressed for the Brazilian side over the past 18 months, and has now played 47 times for the club at senior level.
He has scored five goals and provided an assist in that time, and his impressive displays have attracted interest from several clubs including the Reds and the Lilywhites.
Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United are all also said to be interested in the teenager, who can operate on either flank.
Spurs and Liverpool, meanwhile, are said to have been keeping tabs on the player since he was 16.
Vasco De Gama have previously rejected interest in the youngster from European clubs, the report claims, but it is also suggested that he could be on the move this summer.
The teenager is contracted to his current side until the end of the year.
