Manchester United begin their pre-season campaign with a friendly against newly-promoted Premier League rivals Leeds United on July 19.
The Red Devils face the Whites in Stockholm, before departing to the United States for a tour during which they will face West Ham United, Bournemouth and Everton.
After taking charge of United in November, head coach Ruben Amorim failed to oversee much improvement during his first six months at Old Trafford.
United ultimately finished 15th in the Premier League table last season, and therefore won’t compete in Europe this time around.
Matheus Cunha has already joined Amorim’s squad, and it now appears that the Manchester giants are plotting a move for a Portuguese defender.
According to ABola via GiveMeSport, Man United have enquired about the availability of Sporting CP centre-back Goncalo Inacio.

The 23-year-old has spent his entire senior career with Sporting since progressing through their youth ranks, and has now played more than 200 times for the Portuguese giants.
Inacio played a key role under Amorim as Sporting won the Portuguese top flight title last year, and it appears that the United boss is now keen for a reunion.
The report claims that German side Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the player, although their interest may have cooled after failing to sign the defender during the recent January transfer window.
Sporting are said to value the central defender at around £43 million but, with just two years remaining on his current contract, it remains to be seen whether or not United will be willing to meet that asking price.
United have lost experienced centre-backs Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof since the end of last season, with the duo departing upon their expiries of their respective contracts at the end of June.
