Manchester City Football Club have confirmed the signing of a young Argentine midfielder, Claudio Echeverri on a long term deal.
Manchester City confirmed the arrival of the youngster on its official website on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Claudio Echeverri signed for the Premier League Champions in January 2024 but remained on loan at River Plate until last month.
The 19-year-old joined the Etihad club after Under-20 South American Championship campaign, where he captained his nation to a runners-up finish. Echeverri is bringing experience from River Plate’s senior side 48 times having scored four goals and provided eight assists.

He signed a contract at Manchester City that runs until the summer of 2028, he will now be part of our squad for the rest of the 2024/25 season.
