North American esports organisation NRG has announced a new partnership with gaming controller brand Thrustmaster for its Rocket League division.
According to a release, NRG will be featuring Thrustmaster’s branding in the team’s content and activation ahead of the Rocket League World Championship, which will take place in Lyon, France, from September 10th.
Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
NRG’s Rocket League team will have an exclusive bootcamp at the Thrustmaster headquarters in Rennes, France, with fans being able to see behind-the-scenes coverage. Additionally, Thrustmaster will be featured throughout NRG’s Mission Control broadcast series, the Community Game Nights on Twitch, as well as other custom content on social media.
With Thrustmaster as the latest addition to the portfolio, NRG counts on the support of eight brands in total, including ASUS ROG, internet service provider Spectrum, gaming chair manufacturer AndaSeat, Theta Labs, and Rockstar Energy, among others.
Thrustmaster is a popular brand when it comes to sim racing hardware. Partnering up with various sim racing competitions and companies like Ferrari and Polyphony Digital Inc., the company behind the Gran Turismo franchise, the brand offers steering wheels and bases, pedals, shifters and gamepads.

NRG awaits the RLCS group stage next week
The Rocket League 2025 World Championship will see the best 20 teams from across the globe compete for a share of the $1.2m (~£884,500) prize pool.
Competing at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Décines from September 10th to 14th, 2025, the tournament will first begin with the play-in stage, followed by a 16-team group stage and the final eight playoffs, to determine this year’s world champion.
