NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced today that the US government has granted export approval for the company’s H20 AI chips, allowing NVIDIA to resume sales to the Chinese market. Designed specifically for China, the H20 had been restricted since April due to US export controls. NVIDIA also said it will unveil a new GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) model, the RTX PRO, which is fully compliant with US export regulations. Tailored for computer graphics and AI applications, the RTX PRO is positioned as a solution for smart factories and logistics systems. Additionally, Huang will attend the third China International Supply Chain Expo tomorrow and meet with the media in Beijing. This marks Huang’s third visit to China this year. [TechNode reporting]
