As part of his School First Initiative, The Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area Chief Hon. Amb Ihunwo Chijioke has approved the payment of bursaries for undergraduate students in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, as part of his unrelenting efforts to promote quality education at the grassroots level.
A Bursary Committee has been established to oversee the application process, which begins on February 10, 2025. This process is intended to benefit both indigenes and non- indigenes of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
Find below the scheduled dates for each Ward (for indigenes ), as well as for non-indigenes:
– *Wards 1-4*: Monday, February 10, 2025
– *Wards 5-8*: Tuesday, February 11, 2025
– *Wards 9-12*: Wednesday, February 12, 2025
– *Wards 13-17*: Thursday, February 13, 2025
– *Non-Indigenes*: Friday, February 14, 2025
Applicants are required to bring the following documents:
– JAMB Admission Letter
– School Admission Letter
– Local Government Identification Letter
– Student ID Card
– Reference/Attestation Letter from Ward
Councilor
– Valid means of Identification
– Recent Passport Photograph
