The U.S. men’s national team’s final roster of 2025 has been decided.

Ricardo Pepi, Tyler Adams, and Gio Reyna headlined Mauricio Pochettino’s 25-player roster for this month’s upcoming friendlies against Paraguay and Uruguay.

Defender Joe Scally, forwards Haji Wright and Folarin Balogun, and right back Sergino Dest have also been included in the squad.

Several of the leading stars of the USMNT were not called in such as Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, Chris Richards, Yunus Musah, and Tim Weah. Pulisic has only recently returned to club training while Weah was recently diagnosed with a thigh injury.

Star left back Antonee Robinson has also been left out as he continues to fight back from a knee injury. McKennie has remained a key player for Juventus while Musah has struggled for playing time on loan at Atalanta.

Midfielder Malik Tillman is also out of the roster after only recently returning to action for Bayer Leverkusen.

Both Pepi and defender Auston Trusty are receiving their first call-ups since November 2024. Reyna and Scally are back involved for the first time since the CONCACAF Nations League Final Four last March.

“As we continue to develop our squad and build on the culture we have created, this is another great opportunity for the players selected for this roster to prove they deserve to be on the final list for the World Cup,” Pochettino said.

“It’s important that they come into this camp prepared to show their qualities on the field and their commitment to being a good teammate. We will keep working on the competitive details in training and have the opportunity to challenge ourselves against two high quality opponents from South America.”
