Popular Nigerian Pastor, Azzaman Dies in Fatal Motor Accident

A well-known pastor from Kaduna, Azzaman David, who led the King Worship Chapel and Ministry, has passed away.

As reported by Radio Nigeria, he died in a tragic road accident on Saturday, May 24, while returning to Kaduna from a crusade in Makurdi, Benue state.

Reverend John Joseph Hayab, chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for the 19 northern states and the FCT Abuja, confirmed the news.

Azzaman was a strong supporter of Peter Obi during the 2023 presidential election, helping to elevate Obi’s profile.

Social media influencer Zayiri Yusuf also confirmed the sad news of Pastor Azzaman’s death.

Yusuf wrote on his verified X (formerly Twitter) page on Sunday morning, May 25: “Our brother, friend, and soldier in the vineyard of our Master, Azzaman Azzaman, @dayuba, has gone to be with the LORD.

“He died last night in an accident on his way from Makurdi to Kaduna, his base. He was in Makurdi for days of evangelical outreach. “He has fought the good fight. There remaineth for him his crown of glory.”

Following the sad update, Nigerians are mourning the preacher’s death.
