Controversial Nigerian street-hop singer, Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has fired back at social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), following fresh allegations made against him.

In a video recently shared online, VDM accused Portable of hypocrisy for praising a political leader he referred to as “his best president,” and went further to claim that the singer once stole a mobile phone and a tricycle.

Portable, in a fiery video collage response, hurled insults at the activist, calling him names such as “idiot,” “unfortunate fellow,” “liar,” and “thief,” while also raining curses on him. The Zazoo crooner also accused VeryDarkMan of targeting celebrities online just to gain their attention and later associating with them behind the scenes.

He alleged that VDM had a pattern of dragging public figures on social media only to later seek their company, listing several names of those the activist had reportedly been seen with after publicly criticizing them.

Addressing the theft claims, Portable categorically denied ever stealing a phone or a tricycle. He stated that the individuals who accused him of theft were the same people who willingly gave him the items, and that the allegations only surfaced after he refused to comply with their demands. He added that he had since resolved the matter privately with those involved.

The singer also boasted of his influence on the streets, claiming he requested a road repair in front of his house and the state governor responded by fixing it.

This isn’t the first time the two controversial figures have clashed. Their feud dates back months, with VDM previously accusing Portable of assaulting a man during Felabration. Their online battles have since continued in a series of heated exchanges.
