The New England Revolution will be on the hunt for a new head coach.
Caleb Porter was fired as head coach of the Revolution, the club announced on Monday. Assistant Coach Pablo Moreira will serve as interim head coach for the remainder of the season.
“I am very grateful to Caleb Porter for the energy, effort, and dedication he has brought to the Revolution over the last two years,” said Sporting Director Curt Onalfo. “I have the utmost respect for Caleb and all the tireless work he’s invested in the club, and we wish him the best moving forward.”
Porter was hired as Revolution head coach in December 2023 and served in the role for close to two years. He registered a 22-15-38 record during his span as head coach, with the Revs having a -40 goal differential over that time.
Prior to joining New England, Porter won MLS Cups with both the Portland Timbers and Columbus Crew. He also won the Campeones Cup in 2021 and was MLS Head Coach of the Year in 2013.
The Revs sit 11th in the Eastern Conference and are 10 points back of the final playoff spot with four matches left to play.
