Look at that camera bump!

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to launch early next year, but ahead of any official news about the handset, Android Headlines and @OnLeaks have posted about the upcoming device.

Unfortunately, the CAD renderings show a possible design downgrade, but the front of the handset looks virtually unchanged from its predecessor.

The display is flat, similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The bezels will be thin and uniform, with the device having slightly rounded corners. On the right, there are physical keys, the power button and the volume up and down keys. The left side of the device will have no keys. You’ll also find a USB-C port at the bottom of the handset with the S Pen stylus. The main speaker and the SIM tray will also sit at the bottom of the handset.

It’s worth noting that Samsung has removed S Pen capabilities from the Z Fold 7, and in the S25 Ultra, this S Pen has lost Bluetooth functionality. Interestingly, Samsung is still keeping the stylus, despite seemingly losing interest.

The rear of the device has four cameras, and while the placement remains the same, there’s a design change. With camera placing three of the cameras on the left on a camera bump, which is rumoured to protrude from the rear at 4.5mm total, which is more than half the width of the 7.9mm phone. Strange move considering this actually looks worse than what’s available on the S25 series — please Samsung, steps forward, not backward. These cameras are rumoured to offer a 200-megapixel primary sensor with a f/1.4 aperture, a telephoto with a 10-megapixel sensor and 3x zoom (a downgrade as this shooter might sport a Sony IXM754 lens, which is smaller than what’s available on the S25 Ultra and means it’ll capture less light). Additionally, expect a 50-megapixel ultrawide and a 50-megapixel periscope with a 5x optical zoom.

Android Headlines has listed the other rumoured specs, which include the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which was recently announced during Snapdragon Summit 2025. Other rumours suggest that Samsung will tone the Qualcomm chip ‘for Galaxy,’ offer up to 16GB of RAM, 1TB of UFS 4.0 non-expandable storage. Measure 163.4 x 77.9 x 7.9 (12.4mm with the camera bump), weigh 217g, and sport a 6.89-inch (marketed as 6.9-inch) display. More leaks indicate the handset migh thave up to 60W wired charging, possibly with Qi2.2 with MagSafe-like support, and only a 5,000mAh battery — literally unchanged from the S20 Ultra, shake my head.

Of course, these are all just rumours and we’ll learn more about Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series over the coming months.
