A FAMILY in Heidelburg, Gauteng, claims their daughter will rise from the dead.
Their daughter Palesa Hlahane (26) died on 11 March after a short illness.
Her corpse has been lying at the mortuary since she passed away.
Family’s strong beliefHowever, Palesa’s family believes she’ll rise from the dead and return home.
Palesa’s dad, Thabo Hlahane, said they’re Christians and trust in God.
Thabo (60) said her daughter has been a child of God since childhood and served the Lord wholeheartedly.
“She has honoured us as her parents and always preaches and carries her Bible.
“Palesa was a God-fearing person, and we believe she should have lived until she reached 60 to 80,” claimed Thabo.
Bible verses and hopeThabo quoted several verses from the Bible, including Ephesians 6:2-3, Psalm 91:14-16, Proverbs 4:10, and John 10:10.
“The scripture states that: “Honour your father and mother, this is the first commandment with a promise, that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life on earth.
“Palesa has honoured us and God, and we believe she will be rewarded with a long life. Her passing is not God’s will, but the work of the devil who has come to steal her from us,” claimed Thabo.
He said that the family has been praying at home and at the mortuary where the body is.
“On Thursday, 20 March, we prayed for more than four hours at the mortuary and felt Palesa’s presence.
“By the grace of God, we believe she would return home soon.
“Through my daughter’s death, miracles will happen, and we will not stop praying,” claimed Thabo.
Waiting to pay mortuary feesHe said they’re aware of the need to pay for the storage of the body at the mortuary.
“We are going to pay when our daughter has returned home. We may not know when, but it will happen soon.”
A sign for the mumPalesa’s mum, Princes Hlabane, told Daily Sun on Friday, 21 March, that they will never stop praying.
“This morning, Friday 21 March, when I went to the bathroom, I heard the voice telling me to wash my daughter’s favourite pyjamas.
“This was a great sign that God was preparing me for the resurrection of my daughter.
“I’ve already washed my daughter’s pyjamas, and we are looking forward to welcoming her back home,” said Princes.
