The actress walked the runway at Villa Erba on Lake Como, representing South African fashion house Khosi Nkosi at the Milan Fashion Week on 1 March.
She believes her collaboration with the designer at the fashion show is proof that African fashion is luxurious and globally relevant.
“This collaboration is proof that African designers bring something unique, and the world is finally seeing that. Khosi Nkosi’s showcase, with the support of African Bank, sends a clear message that African fashion is bold, meaningful, and here to stay.”
Nomzamo believes showcasing African creativity on international platforms is more than just fashion.
“Our diversity is our superpower. Africa is not one story, one aesthetic, or one voice. It’s a vast, dynamic tapestry of cultures, traditions, and innovation,” she said.
These events showcased the Legacy Collection, a collaboration between Khosi Nkosi and African Bank, celebrating the bank’s 50th anniversary and highlighting African creativity on a global platform.
“Thanks to partners who believe in elevating African talent, we’re making sure the world sees, respects, and celebrates our brilliance.”
