On the day of the accident, Sibusiso (38) said Lindo posted a touching message on his WhatsApp status.
A farewell message”When you experience loss, people say you’ll go through the five stages of grief… Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. What they don’t tell you is that you’ll cycle through them all every day,” he quoted.
Sibusiso felt that Lindo’s status was like a farewell, a preparation for those who knew him.
“He was aware that we would all have questions about his sudden and unbelievable passing. Today, we are shocked and feeling depressed, wanting to understand why it was him. His message also gives us strength to accept what has occurred,” Sibusiso said.

“When Lindo left his previous employer, he assured me he would bring me to his new company and kept that promise. His passing has left a void in my life. Whenever I see the truck he used to drive, my heart skips a beat as if expecting to see him. May his soul rest in peace,” Sibusiso said.
