The add-on gives readers 15 additional hours of audiobook listening time
Spotify is officially launching its Audiobooks+ add-on for premium members in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and several European countries.
This add-on gives premium users an additional 15 hours to their monthly audiobook listening time, which was initially restricted to 15 hours a month with any Spotify premium plan.
As before, members who use up all their audiobook hours can purchase 10-hour top-ups for $14.99.
Audiobooks+ can be added to your Spotify Premium plan for $13.99. Plan managers can also buy the add-on for all plan members for the same price.
To access the new Audiobooks+ add-on or the audiobook top-ups, you can head to the ‘Account’ page in the Spotify app, tap your Subscription, tap ‘Audiobook listening time’ and then tap either Audiobooks+ or Top-ups to add those. Spotify’s support page has more details on adding these features.
