Tottenham Hotspur will hope to return to winning ways when they host London rivals Brentford on Saturday.
Thomas Frank’s side rescued a late point against Newcastle United on Wednesday, with Cristian Romero’s second goal of the game making it 2-2 at St. James’ Park.
That result leaves Spurs 11th in the Premier League table, and Frank will want to see his side improve heading into the festive period.
Now, though, it appears that the North London outfit are eyeing an audacious move to sign a star from a Premier League rival.
As per CaughtOffside, Tottenham are eyeing a potential move to sign England international Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.
The forward is currently on loan at Spanish side Barcelona, and he has been in fine form so far this term.
In total the Englishman has scored six goals and provided nine assists in 16 games for Barcelona across all competitions, having joined the club on loan over the summer.

Rashford is a product of United’s youth system and has made more than 420 appearances for the club, but he fell out of favour when Ruben Amorim took charge last year and spent the latter part of last term on loan at Aston Villa.
The report suggests that Barcelona are weighing up whether or not to activate an option-to-buy clause that was included in the loan deal, believed to be set at around £25 million.
The player himself is said to be keen to stay put in Spain, but those in charge of Barcelona are wary of jeopardising the club’s other transfer priorities.
The La Liga champions are said to be leading the race to sign the England international at present, with a return to Old Trafford seemingly out of the question.
