Tottenham Hotspur are on the hunt for a new manager after sacking Ange Postecoglou last week.
The Australian guided Spurs to a first trophy in 17 years as they lifted the Europa League last month, but he was ultimately dismissed by chairman Daniel Levy after overseeing a dismal Premier League campaign.
The Lilywhites finished 17th in the top flight table, losing 22 of their 38 matches and winning just 11.
That form prompted Levy to dismiss the former Postecoglou, despite the former Celtic boss being just the third manager in the North London club’s history to win a European trophy.
Now, those in charge of Tottenham must turn attention to finding Postecoglou’s replacement, and it appears that a Premier League manager could be on his way to the club.
As reported by CaughtOffside, the Lilywhites are making good progress in their efforts to hire Brentford boss Thomas Frank.

It is claimed that Spurs have been working quickly to attempt to appoint the Dane, and they are also said to be willing to trigger the release clause in his current contract.
The Bees are reluctant to lose the 51-year-old, however, and are therefore said to be considering offering him a new contract.
It is claimed that Frank will aim to beat Manchester United to the signing of Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo if he is appointed as Postecoglou’s successor.
Previously the club’s assistant manager, Frank took charge of Brentford back in October 2018 and guided the Bees to the Premier League for the first time in the club’s history at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
He has since transformed the West London outfit into an established Premier League side, finishing 13th, ninth, 16th and 10th respectively in the last four seasons.
