Thomas Frank will hope to continue his impressive start as Tottenham Hotspur boss when they face Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
The Lilywhites have so far won three of their four matches in the Premier League and sit third in the table at present.
Frank also oversaw victory in his first Champions League match in charge of Spurs, with the north London outfit running out 1-0 victors over Spanish side Villarreal on Tuesday night.
Now, though, it appears that Tottenham have been handed something of a blow in their pursuit of a former Premier League star.
According to Football Insider, Spurs have been informed that it would take a substantial offer for Atletico Madrid to sell Conor Gallagher.
The central midfielder has emerged as a target for Tottenham, but the report suggests that the La Liga giants are reluctant to sell the Englishman and will therefore demand a ‘huge’ fee to do so.

Gallagher, 25, joined Atletico from boyhood club Chelsea back in 2024 having made 95 appearances for the west London side.
Since moving to Spain, he has played 55 times for Atletico but has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter, instead making a number of his appearances for Diego Simeone’s side from the bench.
It is claimed that both Manchester United and Crystal Palace have also shown a strong interest in the England international, however Spurs are currently said to be leading the race to sign the player.
Gallagher’s contract with Atletico is set to run until the end of the 2028/29 season, but it remains to be seen whether or not he will remain in the Spanish capital until that date.
Atletico are said to have put a price tag of £50 million on the ex-West Bromwich Albion man.
