Clearly surprised, the teacher replied, “You called me a prostitute just because of my dress? Do you really think it’s short? Do you expect me to wear a long gown or a dress down to my knees?”

In other news… A Nigerian student in the UK, Edidion Effiong Okokon, has sadly passed away after a prolonged battle with a lung disease.

According to reports from the Nigerian community in the UK, Okokon was an international student at Teesside University.

He arrived in the United Kingdom in January 2023, filled with dreams and excitement to pursue his studies. However, a few months later, his health began to deteriorate after being diagnosed with a lung disease.

Despite his struggles, he successfully completed his degree in May 2025, but tragically passed away on October 17.

Friends and colleagues are now raising funds to help repatriate his body to Nigeria for burial.
