Asus unveiled quite a lineup of new PCs at CES 2026, including some notable upgrades to some of the company’s existing devices. In other cases, we got smaller internal upgrades.

Ahead of CES, we got to check out several of the new laptops and even go hands-on with a couple of them. I’ve run through some of the highlights below.

For starters, Asus revamped its dual-screen devices. The 2026 Zenbook Duo got some big changes like a hideaway hinge that makes the gap between the two display panels less intrusive. Asus also upgraded the Duo with Ceraluminum, an excellent chassis material popularized on laptops like the Zenbook A14. I’m a big fan of Ceraluminum because it’s durable and lightweight, so Asus bringing it to the Duo is definitely a win.

Speaking of dual-screen laptops, Asus’ gaming brand, Republic of Gamers (ROG), got its own take on the Duo laptop with the ROG Zephyrus DUO. It sports dual 3K Nebula HDR OLED touchscreens with up to 120Hz refresh rate, Nvidia G-Sync support on the main panel, and features the latest Intel CPUs along with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.

The Zephyrus Duo looks like an absolute beast of a gaming laptop, and the dual display concept I think will make a lot of sense here, allowing users to game on one display while having other apps open on the other, such as Discord to chat with friends or a browser window for looking up guides. Asus even showed off a unique tent mode, allowing for co-op gameplay where players each get their own display.

Getting back to the regular laptops, Asus brought upgrades to its A and S series laptops. The lightweight A series got updated with the latest Snapdragon X2 chips, as well as a new 16-inch A16 model to go along with the A14. The A16 also sports a 3K OLED display.

Meanwhile, the S series got an aesthetic update with Ceraluminum and a new vent design, combined with an ultrathin 1.1cm profile. The 14- and 16-inch laptops look fantastic in real life, and Asus says it maintained the structural strength with the new, slimmer design.

Inside, the S series laptops got bumped up to the latest chips from Intel (up to Core Ultra 9 Series 3) and AMD (up to Ryzen AI 400 Series). They also sport up to 3K 120Hz Lumina OLED displays with up to 1,100-nit peak brightness.

Switching gears back to gaming, Asus had some other notable updates. The company upgraded its ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 gaming laptops with new Intel CPU options and redesigned the bottom panel to improve exhaust and cooling.

Asus ROG Flow x Kojima Productions.

There’s also the unique partnership with Death Stranding developer Kojima Productions on a special variant of the ROG Flow 2-in-1 gaming tablet with a special design inspired by Kojima’s Ludens mascot. Asus also unveiled several special editions of its peripherals to go along with it, including a headset and mouse.

Overall, Asus’ 2026 lineup impressed, and the company looks set to continue building off its successes from 2025 with awesome new laptops. Stay tuned to MobileSyrup to learn more as we test out these devices throughout the year.
