Itās not summer without you. Jenny Hanās The Summer I Turned Pretty is back for its third and final season, and itās been a roller coaster of a season so far. But donāt fret ā weāre not finished with Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah yet.
The show is based on the book trilogy of the same name by Jenny Han, who has been executive producing the TV series. Isabel āBellyā Conklin (Lola Tung) starts the third season as an older, more mature college student. Sheās eased into her relationship with Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) with eyes toward their future. But nothing is ever so simple, and much drama ensues after Belly and Jeremiah announce their engagement, resulting in much trepidation from their families, including Conrad (Christopher Briney), Bellyās first love and Jeremiahās older brother.
Han and others have been very tight-lipped about changes the final season may make compared to the third book, Weāll Always Have Summer. So even those of us who have read the book will have to tune in to see how Bellyās story comes to a close.
