Social media activist Martins Otse, known as Verydarkman (VDM), has spoken out after being released from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In a viral video, VDM was seen in a car with his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, discussing the situation with his fans.

He expressed confusion over the money laundering allegations, stating that he does not have the wealth typically associated with such claims.

“How would they level allegations of money laundering on someone who doesn’t have money?” he questioned in the video. “I have done so many charity [projects], they wonder how. They don’t know I use debt for charity.”

Despite everything, VDM seemed upbeat and reassured his followers of his release.

“Anyway, we are outside, with my lawyer of course,” he added.
