Nyesom Wike has lashed out at politicians he accused of supporting those who betrayed him, warning that senators and lawmakers involved would eventually face betrayal themselves and suffer the consequences.
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Saturday issued strong warnings and curses against politicians he accused of backing individuals he considers disloyal to him.
Wike made the remarks during the commissioning of the Rivers State chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ office in Port Harcourt. Speaking angrily, the former Rivers State governor accused some senators and members of the House of Representatives of supporting what he described as acts of betrayal.
He warned that those aligning themselves with such actions would eventually face betrayal themselves. According to Wike, when the time comes, the same politicians would suffer the consequences of their actions.
He added that when those politicians receive their “own share” of betrayal, they would be unable to withstand it, declaring that they “will collapse and go.”
Wike said, “Whether you are a senator, House of Reps member, minister or governor, and you support betrayals, people will continue to betray you in life. Betrayal is your portion.
“The day you will be betrayed, you will not have mouth to say anything. There you will collapse and go and they will announce that so so person has died.
“That is the seed you have planted and whatever you plant, you will reap. Since you are planting betrayal, betrayal will follow you everywhere.
“Every governor who is doing the second tenure, governor who has ambition to put a successor and is supporting betrayal, you will never survive it.”
