Xiaomi has a new Google TV-powered streaming stick headed to market and while the company has yet to actually announce the product, you can already buy it, and one of our readers has shared images of the device in the flesh too.
Xiaomi has been making Android TV devices for a while, but it’s been a while since the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K has gotten a refresh. The company appears to have one releasing in the near future, though, as it’s already on sale via Aliexpress.
The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2025) is available for around $50~ through the retailer, though only with EU plugs. The updated device has Google TV, the biggest upgrade you’ll find, alongside a measly spec update. The device still has just 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, and still draws power via microUSB. It’s claimed to run Android 11 under the hood with an undisclosed “quad-core” chipset.
The hardware looks pretty familiar, including the remote which has shortcuts for Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube alongside Xiaomi’s own “TV+” app.
One of our readers bought the device, showing how it differs from the Aliexpress listing and confirming that, yes, this is a new product.
Thanks Alex for these images!
Xiaomi, as mentioned, has yet to announce this device in any capacity. It’s not for sale anywhere else, but given that it’s been live on Aliexpress for a little while now, it’s probably safe to assume it’s arriving sooner than later.
