Tottenham Hotspur were booed off the pitch after suffering a 1-0 defeat at home against fierce rivals Chelsea on Saturday.
Joao Pedro’s first-half goal was enough to earn Enzo Maresca’s side all three points in North London, moving the Blues up to sixth place in the Premier League table and level on points with the Lilywhites.
Next up for Spurs is a home game against Danish side FC Copenhagen in the Champions League on Tuesday, before they host Manchester United in the Premier League.
Off the pitch, it has appeared that the North London side have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of a Premier League striker.
According to TBR Football, Tottenham have been told that Brentford striker Kevin Schade is ‘not for sale’.

The report claims that the German has attracted interest from Tottenham, having scored twice in ten Premier League games so far this term.
Schade, 23, has scored 16 goals 86 games for the Bees since joining the club from German outfit Freiburg in 2023.
It is claimed that both Spurs and Aston Villa have been closely monitoring the striker, who is under contract at The GTech Community Stadium until the summer of 2028.
Schade is also said to have attracted the attention of German sides Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, as well as Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid.
Despite significant interest from elsewhere, Brentford are said to be extremely reluctant to allow the forward to depart the club having sold both Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa during the recent summer transfer window.
The report suggests that, while former Brentford boss Frank is keen for a reunion with Schade in the capital, Brentford are adamat that their key players, including the striker, Igor Thiago, and Nathan Collins, are not for sale.
