Last week, the combat sports world was hit with the news that Andrew Tate is set to officially make his boxing debut this year.
After several months of teasing a return to combat sports, it was announced by Misfits Boxing that Andrew Tate has taken over as the CEO, and will make his debut in the ring on December 20.
‘Cobra’ Tate will walk straight into a Misfits heavyweight title fight against current champion, Chase DeMoor, who won the strap back in May.
For a while, it seemed as though the controversial figure would take on former UFC star Darren Till in his boxing debut, but talks didn’t go anywhere between the two despite early positives.

Tate’s experience in combat sports stems from kickboxing and he competed in over 25 kickboxing fights in the ring.
However, Adegbuyi isn’t the only notable partner Tate has invited to his camp, as pictures were shared online of the 38-year-old training with UFC featherweight star, Lerone Murphy.
Murphy is coming off the most impressive win of his career after he knocked out Aaron Pico with a spinning elbow at UFC 319.
The Brit was hopeful that with his win over Pico, he would have secured himself a shot at Alexander Volkanovski for the featherweight title, but he recently shared an unfortunate update.
Tate vs DeMoor could be one of the biggest boxing fights of the yearBizarrely, despite it being Tate’s boxing debut on December 20, it could be set to be one of the biggest boxing fights of the year.
The ‘Cobra’ has become one of the most famous figures in the world over the past few years, especially amongst the demographic who would be likely to tune in to watch a Misfits Boxing event.
