Mr Macaroni has marked the fifth anniversary of the #EndSARS protest, remembering victims of the October 20, 2020, Lekki Toll Gate shooting.
In his post, he condemned Nigeria’s corrupt leadership and mourned the losses suffered by youths who fought for justice.
The activist vowed that the day would never be forgotten nor forgiven, reminding Nigerians of the ongoing struggle against oppression.
Nigerian actor and activist, Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has once again paid tribute to the victims of the Lekki Toll Gate shooting as the nation marks the fifth anniversary of the tragic #EndSARS incident.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, the comedian reflected on the pain and sacrifices of Nigerian youths who lost their lives, jobs, families, and dreams in the fight against police brutality.
He wrote:
“Nigerian youths lost their lives, jobs, families, and dreams at the hands of the most corrupt and evil people we call leaders! Even though some of us are deeply in love with our oppressors, this day 20/10/2020 is never to be forgotten nor forgiven!”
Accompanied by a powerful photo from the 2020 protests and the song “Unknown Soldier” by Fela Kuti, his post reignited memories of the nationwide demonstrations that demanded an end to police brutality and bad governance.

The development comes after a viral video surfaced online showing the actress in tears, lamenting about the situation in her marriage. In the clip, Regina could be heard saying,
“In Ned Nwoko’s house I am nothing, but in my house I am a queen. I cannot stand the violence, it is too much.”
According to movie producer Stanley On-Top, who shared the video, thugs allegedly sent by the lawmaker attacked the actress, but her brothers stepped in to defend her.
Sources close to the actress claim she has since left her marital home to stay with family members for her safety.
