Victor Osimhen’s impending departure from Napoli seems to be taking more twists and turns following thee reports of the Serie A side rejecting Galatasaray’s improved bid for the forward as transfer talks have now progressed to the club negotiation level from the past update.
What is the latest on Victor Osimhen’s transfer?According to Fabrizio Romano as at Friday, July 18, 2025, Napoli and Galatasaray have resumed talks once again and this time around with new terms and conditions added to the contract from the Serie A side. Napoli is also requesting that the Nigerian forward be stopped from making a move to the Serie A for the next two years whilst asking fro more guarantees and a sell on clause which would see them receive earning if Gala decides to sell Osimhen in future.
It is important to note however that this is not the first time Napoli have requested that new changes be made to the proposed contract as they initially requested for bank guarantees and for the 75 million valuation be paid a lot earlier than the Turkish champions had initially stipulated.
Will Victor Osimhen join Galatasaray?It remains to be seen if Victor Osimhen will complete the move from Napoli to Galatasaray but reports however indicate that talks between both clubs are in the final stages and personal terms have already been agreed with the Nigerian forward.
