The month of November was filled with amazing fixtures and unpredictable results defining the competition, this recognition goes to the manager who has inspired peak performances, made decisive strategic calls, and kept their side in top form. Eight players were announced by the Premier League as nominees for its manager of the month award for October 2025 after an impressive run for their clubs
Who are the nominees for player of the month?Harvey Barnes (Newcastle)
Barnes scored three goals across the month as Newcastle United recorded impressive victories over Manchester City and Everton. He scored his first goal of November in a 3-1 loss at Brentford, but followed up with a goal either side of Ruben Dias’ effort to secure a 2-1 success against Man City.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (Everton)
Dewsbury-Hall had an excellent month for Everton after producing two goals and an assist in November. He was impressive in a 1-1 draw at Sunderland, and he then had a fine individual performance against Fulham, picking out Michael Keane for their second goal in a 2-0 victory. The 27-year-old scored a stunning goal to earn 10-man Everton a 1-0 win at Manchester United before producing another sublime strike in a home loss to Newcastle.
Jeremy Doku (Man City)
The Belgian was in electric form as he scored as Man City stayed in hot pursuit of Premier League leaders Arsenal. He was sensational in Man City’s 3-0 win over defending champions Liverpool, winning a penalty and then crowning a superb display with an incredible goal.
Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd)
Fernandes continued in his fine form for Man Utd, with his four-goal involvement helping Ruben Amorim’s side to continue their climb towards the top six. He created the opener for Casemiro in a 2-2 draw at Nottingham Forest, before providing an assist for Matthijs de Ligt to score in the sixth minute of stoppage time to earn a 2-2 draw at Tottenham Hotspur. The Portuguese assisted twice in a 2-1 victory at Crystal Palace taking his total in the Premier League to 56, moving him past Paul Scholes (55) in Man Utd’s all-time list.
Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest)
Midfielder Gibbs-White is in good form under the guidance of new head coach Sean Dyche. The Forest captain scored in three consecutive matches, starting with a 2-2 draw at home to Man Utd and a 3-1 win over Leeds United, before he netted their third in an incredible 3-0 success at champions Liverpool.
Reece James (Chelsea)
James showcased his defensive and attacking abilities in a near-perfect month for Chelsea. The England international played in all four of their matches, taking 10 points out of a possible 12. James helped his side keep clean sheets in victories against Tottenham Hotspur, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers, while he also contributed in attack with an assist as 10-man Blues held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw.
Declan Rice (Arsenal)
The midfielder was a key figure as Arsenal maintained their position at the top of the table. Rice scored his second Premier League goal of the season as Mikel Arteta’s side kicked off the month with a 2-0 win at Burnley. He produced an imperious midfield display – and an assist for the first goal of Eberechi Eze’s hat-trick – in a 4-1 derby thumping of Spurs.
Igor Thiago (Brentford)
Brentford’s Brazilian forward continued his impressive goalscoring form by netting five of the Bees’ seven goals across the month, including two braces. Thiago was on the mark twice in a 3-1 home success over Newcastle, followed up with a goal at Brighton & Hove Albion and then hit another double as Brentford beat Burnley 3-1.
