Ange Postelogou is the first manager to lose his job ahead of the 2025/26 season following the termination of his Tottenham contract.
The termination of Australian contract was confirmed on the official website of Tottenham on Friday, June 6 2025. According to reports from the club, Ange Postelogou was sacked because of the poor form of the club in the just concluded 2024/25 Premier League season.
Ange will forever be remembered as the first manager to win a trophy for Tottenham Hotspur in 17 years. He led them to win the UEFA Europa League with a 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the final of the competition.
Who will replace Ange Postelogou at Tottenham Hotspur?(1 ) Thomas Frank ( Brentford)
Brentford boss Thomas Frank has been tipped as a leading contender to replace Postecoglou. He has been in charge of the Bees since 2018, guiding them to the Premier League at the end of 2019-20 and keeping them there since.

Marco Silva has managed Hull City, Watford, Everton, and Fulham in England and has been in charge of the Cottagers since 2021.

Oliver Glasner is also a contender to take over the job after helping Crystal Palace win their first major trophy beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final last month. The former Eintracht Frankfurt boss, who won the Europa League with the Bundesliga side.
(4) Mauricio Pochettino ( Spurs)
The Argentine could be on his way back to the White Hart Lane. However, Pochettino is in charge of the USA men’s team and it will take a lot to make him return to Spurs.
