Nigerian music sensation Wizkid has taken to social media to celebrate the resurgence of his song Kese on Apple Music’s chart.
The song, which disappeared from the chart on Monday, November 18, 2024, reappeared hours later, sparking relief and excitement among Wizkid’s fans.
Confusion had surrounded the temporary removal, with some attributing it to Apple Music’s strict policies against streaming manipulation and others blaming a technical glitch.
Wizkid, seemingly amused by the ordeal, tweeted via X: “lol this one no be ebuka o, kese jor!”
The phrase “Kese jor” roughly translates to “Let’s go” or “It’s time to celebrate” in Nigerian Pidgin English.
With the song reclaiming its number one spot, Wizkid’s fans, known as Wizkid FC, are rejoicing over the song’s triumphant return.
