A young Nigerian man has shared a deeply emotional story about how his world fell apart after learning that the man he grew up calling his father for 19 years was not his biological parent.
According to him, the shocking truth came to light when his father decided to carry out a DNA test because of his “stubborn behaviour.” The result confirmed that there was no blood relation between them.
The young man revealed that the discovery has left him traumatized, especially as he had already lost his mother at the tender age of 13.
His Emotional Outburst
Expressing his pain online, he poured out his frustration and even cursed his late mother for hiding the truth.
He wrote:
“After 19 years my dad realised I wasn’t his son after conducting a DNA test because of my stubborn behaviour. My mom died when I was 13, and till now I never fit move on from the trauma. 19 years of believing he was my dad, Jesus Christ! 💔
E no go better for my mama for that grave wey she dey. 💔”
